It gives everybody Goosebumps to discuss something like this. I feel like sharing one of my personal experiences.  Though I don’t know if this event qualifies as a paranormal activity I surely don’t know how else to define it.

One night I was sleeping by my mom’s side. I am usually a very sound sleeper and I rarely wake up at night. But that night I woke up and turned on my side away from the wall. Then I noticed a faint figure in the dim light, more like a shadowy dark figure that resembled a lady standing with the pallu of the saree over the head. Though not very clear it resembled a plump lady draped in saree and pallu over the head.

I immediately recognized her as my grandma’s elder sister who has passed away the previous week. She was the eldest, we all loved her too much and she loved us back even more. As we were trying to get over her, we still had not gotten adjusted to the fact that she had passed away. And I in my sleep (don’t really know what made me do this) invited her to sleep beside me sharing my bed. Then I slept through that night without any more disturbances.

The next morning I recollected what happened the previous night. It was not a dream because I was able to fully make sense of all that that was going through my mind when I saw her and the memories were not vivid but strong and amazingly clear. I told my mom and when I did as expected all they started to weep. A week prior to her death only she has visited us and we were all very happy of her visit.

It is believed in a few cultures that immediately after someone passes away it takes a few days for that soul to accept the fate and move on. In the mean while before it moves over to the next world the soul of that person will linger here on the Earth amidst us. And the soul is believed to pay a visit to say its final good byes to the people it loves the most.

Does this mean that I was visited by my grandma’s sister’s soul?

With the valentine’s day fast approaching the tempers rise, the pulse beats faster,  the whole atmosphere electrifies, guys making sure to see that nothing goes wrong in that crucial moment.

The girls are all set planned which dress to wear and what to say and waiting for a chance to say it. But the easiest way to complete the ritual by bypassing all these steps is to entice your man by your culinary skills. The first Crop circle appeared in the 1970’s and the 80’s. It lead people’s imaginations run wild. Some believed that UFO s has landed and that the aliens were visiting Earth, few others believed that Its was the spirits trying to communicate to them and just as usual there were the skeptics who said that it was a prank.

During that period the crop circles were very simple , about 10 to 15 simple circular patterns that ranged from 30 to 40 meters in diameter. In 1978 the crop circles became so popular that tourists flocked to take a peek into the so called paranormal communication patterns. The blow came when in 1991 two friends Doug Bower and Dave Chorley admitted that the supernatural patterns were all their creations.

However there was still a class of people who believed that the crop circles were means of communication with the superior energy forms.   Since 1991 Thomas has been engaged in the study of crop circles which lead to the development of swirlednews.com. He also conducted experiments in 1995, in which he along with a group of people engaged in meditation imagining a specific pattern over the crop circles. And Thomas claims that that night the same pattern had appeared on the crops . His question was “ No one from their team had created and no one else knows the pattern “ , how else would you define this if not a super power?

Still the skeptics argue – Why do they appear only during the nights or when no one is around?

The answer –  “  The superior intelligence are not willing to risk being spotted or socialize with the primitive humans just as we would not rub shoulders with the primitive apes” .

However all theses will be resolved with some scientific study of the crops, the physical changes these crops are subjected to in the crop circles.

This is where the BLT research Team lends a hand. The BLT team consists of  over 13 professional consultants who study the crop circles and have submitted around 3 papers.

Their findings include –

• The seeds from the crops in the crop circles develop at different rates
• The iron glaze on the crops in the crop circles
• The most important of all – The elongated Nodes. This they claim may be because of exposure to heat such as the micro waves or some other atmospheric energy.

There is also a theory among the researchers “ The crop circles may be created due to the Plasma Vortices” . The plasma vortices are something like the electrical tornadoes. However the existence of such tornadoes is itself a debated topic.

Nancy from the BLT says that the energy is trying to communicate through these patterns and we have to decipher their sign language. But there is also heavy opposition from the skeptics that these are nothing more than the work of normal human trampling over the crops.

There was one other video that shocked the whole world – “balls of light dancing over a crop field creating crop circles”. The video was studied by a cyber investigator only to declare that it was a hoax.

On closer study of the video contrary to the normal human tendency to follow the balls of light the camera is stationary and the voice of the person who was taping the event is way too normal for the excitement that he was witnessing was the simple explanation. And yes this investigation did prove right – later John the owner of the video admitted that it was simple over laying of the frames that had resulted in the balls of light creating the crop circles.

Some believe that the gont. is actually trying to shut people up and not to scare them but few others question that if the super intelligent are trying to communicate wouldn’t they prefer to do it in front of the white house where it is more appropriate?

Well this or that its some intelligence that is acting over the crop circles alright that is nothing but the creativity of the fathers of the crop circles.

That movie gave a new profile to ” The American Sweet Heart” adding respect to Julia’s glam figure at that time. Julia and Suzan would have melted the hearts of people not giving the opportunity for any other actor to sare the screen.

 The duo performed so dramatically from the start the small misunderstandings , the fight , the rivalry, the hatred, the prejudise, slowly moving over to acceptance, and finally Isabell being accepted in to the family by Jacke.

My favourite scene in the movie is when both the ladies of the house sit to have a talk about the future of their girl. Initially Jackie will be furious with Isabell accusing her of shaping her daughter like Isabell herself but then will conceal her emotions and admit that its time for her to move on. Then jackie will break into a sob and would list all the things that she would miss from her daughter’s life like when she would be dressed in her wedding gown and walking doen the aisle she wouldn be there to stay by her side.

Isabell would say ” My biggest fear is if she would say that she misses her mom”, for which Jackie would reply “And mine is she wont”.

This dialogue is laden with emotions, has so much depth to it.

One other dialogue is when Isabell asks her ” Are you dying?”

Jackie says after exhaling a puff from her deeply drawn cigarette smoke ” Not Today”

These simple yet powefull dialogues packed with a punch makes the movie unforgetable.

NASA’s Kepler mission has discovered 11 new planetary systems hosting 26 confirmed planets, the U.S. space agency announced Thursday in a statement.

Well whether or not we like it looks like we have to warm up to our new neighbours. The officials were on the constant look out for other Earth like planets and ended up with a whole bulk of planets in a list. The forth coming generations will have a bulkier geography science books to read.
